We take a lot of pride in our dinner party experiences here at The Prince & Pantry.  It’s one of signature offerings because it allows our client and our chefs a chance to craft a truly one-of-a-kind experience.  Tailored to every possible detail, we put together a menu that is sure to please.

The setting for this particular dinner party couldn’t have been better.  A beautiful home set in the hills of Los Angeles with a special gathering of friends to celebrate a momentous birthday. For the menu, our client selected our Kimono menu—seven courses of Japanese inspired cuisine.

If you’re not familiar with Tastemade, you need to be. YouTube’s first global food network, Tastemade is doing what the Food Network did for cable television on the internet.  Recently, Tastemade launched their mobile phone app, where users, like you and I, can produce bite-size video reviews of our favorite restaurants.  It’s as easy as point and shoot. The app takes care of the editing, music, marquee, and more.

We are so excited to share that this past weekend we taught our very first public cooking class at The Hood Kitchen Space in Costa Mesa, CA. We have been using The Hood Kitchen Space as a home base for our catering kitchen for some time and finally was able to host a cooking class in their amazing studio space.

When Dane, a master trainer from The 12, a fitness center in Irvine, CA reached out to us about doing a class, we said yes! With his input and suggestion, we put together a menu of healthy dishes that was easy enough for all our students to make at home in very little time.

This particular event was a surprise birthday party set in the beautiful backyard at a home in Pacific Palisades, CA.  The hostess had us craft together a vegetarian Mexican menu with seasonal California inspirations. We had a great time celebrating this surprise birthday with what we called a Fiesta with Finesse.

We always get excited when we have a request to feature one of our signature themed dessert tables at an event.  Perfect for weddings, birthdays, baby showers, and more, our dessert tables are a stunning way to treat your guests to something sweet.

This particular dessert table was featured at a military homecoming party right by the ocean in Newport Beach, CA.  Our hostess requested a dessert table that would highlight her son’s patriotism with a classic Americana feel.  We drew inspiration from the vintage quality present in that era to tie this dessert table together.
